The Museum's permanent exhibition has been replenished with a new artifact – the Commemorative Medal “Holodomor – Genocide of the Ukrainian People”, dedicated to the tragedy of 1932-1933, the victims of which were at least 4 million residents of our country.

The sketch of the memorial medal was created by a talented Ukrainian artist – Viktor Gukaylo (1947-2023), in 2001-2023 – the chief artist of our Museum, the author of the artistic solution of the unique street museum exposition “On the Paths of Donbas” of the Dnipropetrovsk National Historical Museum named after D.I. Yavornytsky, as well as the illustrator of dozens of books and the set designer of a number of theatrical performances. In October an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of this gifted person opened at the Museum.
